Who we are
This website, www.quicksilver.group, is run by Quicksilver Business Innovation Group, operated by Quicksilver Software Development Inc. ("Quicksilver", "we", "us"), 102-9775 4th Street, Sidney, BC V8L 2Z8. Quicksilver Business Innovation Group and Quicksilver Software Development (quicksilver.dev) are related Quicksilver businesses. This policy explains what personal information this website collects, why, and what you can do about it.
We follow British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and, where it applies, Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

We don't sell personal information, and we don't use it for advertising. The site isn't aimed at children, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Consent
By contacting us, you consent to us using your details to respond and to follow up about the matter you raised. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing [email protected].
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to see how the site is used. It sets cookies in your browser and sends usage data to Google. Google Analytics 4 does not store full IP addresses. We keep analytics data for up to 14 months. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. The site works without them.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run the business. They handle personal information on our behalf and under their own security and privacy terms:
- Google: email (Google Workspace) and website analytics
- DigitalOcean: website hosting, delivered through Cloudflare's network
- Web3Forms: delivers messages sent through our contact form to our inbox
We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
Storage outside Canada
Some of these providers store or process information in the United States and other countries. While it's there, it may be accessed by courts, law enforcement and national security authorities of those countries under their laws. If you have questions about this, contact our privacy officer.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry emails and form submissions for as long as needed to respond and to manage any work that follows, and then for up to seven years for business and tax records. Analytics data is kept according to the setting above.
How we protect it
We limit access to people who need it, use providers with strong security practices, protect accounts with multi-factor authentication, and serve the site over HTTPS. If a breach creates a real risk of significant harm, we will notify you and the relevant privacy commissioner as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask how it has been used and disclosed. Email [email protected]. We'll respond within the time the law allows, generally 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia (oipc.bc.ca).
